Hello, I have been a major proponent of Bitcoin since March of 2011. Last month, Chase Bank shut off all of my accounts – checking, ATM, credit – with no notice and no warning. This happened right after a $7000 deposit from Kraken, the first ever transfer to my account from a Bitcoin institution. They just kept bouncing me around the fraud department and no one would help me. I called over 50 times and spoke with multiple supervisors in many departments all the way up to senior fraud who said they had no idea what was going on. I was stranded on the East Coast with no money for gas or food over the holidays after confirming I would be traveling and that I would have no problems. I was only able to resolve this a few days ago, and my attorneys are going after Chase for jamming up my personal affairs and business operations.

Now, my new account at Capital One has been referred to the fraud department. I can't get my new credit card activated. All they have to do is say "fraud department handling it" and then you can't do anything about it. I know some other Bitcoiners have had these problems. Everyone should be aware. Fuck banks.
