https://bitcoinfees.21.co shows about 20,000 unconfirmed transaction and 110 satoshi/byte recommended fee but other sites show mempool is now basically empty.

https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin/ shows mempool fluctuating about 2 MBs and under 1,500 transactions. Mined blocks are now less than 1 megabyte in size.

There appears to be no congestion and almost no backlog at the moment but bitcoinfees.21.co appears to still believe there are many transactions queued.
