Yesterday I bought some games on Steam for a total of 20€. My goal was to pay a 0.50€ fee but the lowest Mycelium let me choose was 1€ which I knew was way too much, even 0.50€ was already overkill but whatever.

After sending the transaction BitPay's checkout page updates and displays a warning that my fee is too low so I may need to wait up to 72 hours.

Went back to Steam and it said they were waiting for a confirmation and to contact BitPay for any questions.

3 minutes later my transaction is included in the earliest block…

All the estimation websites and wallets are completely off when it comes to transactions fees. This is infuriating honestly.
