While we recognize Bitcoin as the originator of the Crypto Coin Industry we consider the coin currently over valued for many reasons with a high risk of even further value erosion.

Positives

Excellent for day trading and has an elite status in it’s PR value, it is what people think of when you mention Crypto Coin.

It is currently the equivalent of the USD in regards to Crypto Exchanges using it to value other crypto coins in trading.

Bitcoin has the largest community behind it.

Negatives

There is no company or leadership behind the coin. But yet there is a quasi team leading it but no consensus in it’s direction.

Volatility is it’s name and it’s as likely to decrease in value in the near term (90 days) as it is likely to rise. It has a quickly falling market value percentage which is now in the low 30% range compared to 65% not long ago.

Slow speed for transaction and high cost.

Huge energy cost daily to maintain network.

Inability to scale to a global currency need.

Public ledger is not anonymous and leads to bloating.

It’s Blockchain technology it pioneered is inferior now to other projects.

Huge negative factor of it’s creator Satoshi being absent from project.

Rumors persist it was possibly created by NSA and or CIA to track drug money, arms dealers and terrorists.

Overall Rating

It enjoys a unique status in the world of crypto as the first mass adopted crypto coin and has a zealot level community behind it that insist the coin will reach the $1 Million Value range.

It’s dominance in it’s percentage of crypto market value share had plummeted from 80% to 65% to low 30%.

For the time being it’s an anchor coin of the crypto industry but in our opinion many new projects have a much greater growth curve in the near and far future.
