Hey everyone,

I've been a lurker in this subreddit and r/btc since late 2013. I've never made a post on Reddit whatsoever and outside of being an advocate of bitcoins overarching themes and ideas I don't have a technical understanding nor does bitcoin have much of an effect on my daily routine.. I simply hodl.

With that being said, it's incredibly difficult for a person who used to come here for lively discussion just see one subreddit stating claims about the other. I literally have no idea as to which is correct as it seems there are valid points for each side.

Now here's my ask. As a community for r/bitcoin and r/btc there should be a live debate (online) between the most well respected advocates of both sides of the arguments. That should be decided by a vote of who that may be by the respective communities.

This way I can get a true debate from leaders rather than reading worthless content of people smearing others.

Is this something we can get behind?
