I thought this subreddit might be interested in a project I've been working on – an open source Windows GUI program that interfaces with the Gemini Exchange. You can check balances, place orders (including stop-loss), generate deposit addresses, etc. See this link for details, and downloads
This is the first C# program I've ever written, so there may be some design paradigms I haven't properly implemented. That's what pull requests are for.
I've squashed all the bugs I've found, but I still suggest starting off by making a Sandbox account on Gemini to play with.
Details:
Libra is a C# GUI program providing access to the Gemini Exchange API, utilizing the open source C# Gemini Library that I wrote.
Free!
- Free as in beer. Free as in pizza. Free as in speech.
- Written in C#, using no external libraries (well, besides the Gemini Library, which I wrote).
- Released under the MIT License
Safe!
- API Keys are stored as AES-256 encrypted files
- Data is only transmitted to Gemini.
- Gemini only allows withdrawals to whitelisted addresses, which cannot be setup via API
- No telemetry, no automatic updates, no communicating with unknown servers.
Useful!
- Ability to place limit orders and stop orders, something not possible with just the web interface
- Extensible API interface
