Earlier this week, the company announced a major wallet redesign that caters to customer needs. Storing cryptocurrency in a secure place is important, yet Trezor wants to make the experience even better.

It is also a part of a rebranding task, as the Trezor identity will undergo some further changes down the road. By changing this design, the company focuses on familiarity and usability.

Visual Changes Make Trezor Look More Appealing

This change will be well received by novice bitcoin users. Getting involved with a hardware bitcoin wallet can be a daunting task. Going through different menus without too many bells and whistles can be a great asset, in this regard. Nothing has changed in the operating logic, as all changes are visual upgrades. For example, there is a more detailed Transactions tab which helps Trezor users gain a better understanding of their account.

Some of the advanced Trezor features have also undergone some changes. To be more specific, the functions only accessible through the command line are now available via a graphical user interface. This is a big step forward, especially where the Advanced Recovery feature is concerned.Additionally, some other visual changes have been made in regards to error messages. Users will now see a link to the Troubleshooter whenever an issue occurs. A minor change, but it is a great change nonetheless.

It is evident the Trezor team is very confident about their project and what they need to do to make it even better. Visual updates are an integral part of making bitcoin hardware wallets look more appealing. This change is a big step in the right direction and highlights there is still a lot of room for improvements.

Ensuring people can be their own bank yet respecting customer privacy is still the top priority for this team.
