This is a follow-up to my first post here.
Is Bitcoin in a frenzy since Circle dropped out?
I've been happily using Circle to buy BTC since they opened. The fees were nothing, and their BTC rate was usually close to Preev + $1.
Now that Circle is gone, I'm having trouble finding a place to buy BTC at a decent rate or with decent payment options.
Glidera is bullshit as I jumped through all their hoops only to find out they accept a whopping 10 banks, of which I don't belong to. Plus, there rate is $4-6 above Preev and $22 above BTC-e BEFORE fees.
Gemini same crap. 15 banks, of which I don't belong to. Rate is $8 above Preev and $25 above BTC-e BEFORE fees.
Coinbase Ugh. Highest prices by far. $12 above Preeve and $29 above BTC-e BEFORE fees. Their fees are ridiculous too. GDAX is premium too.
BTC exchange rate at the time of this post:
BTC-e – $1,255.40
Preev – $1,272.00 Circle – $1,271.48
Glidera – $1,277.43
Gemini – $1,279.99
Coinbase – $1,282.22
Are Local ATMs a viable option? I have a few different brands in my city?
Any other options available or am I just spoiled from Circle and now have to take it up the you-know-where from all these B.S. exchanges charging premium BTC prices and then tacking on even more high-rate transaction fees after they've already upped the actual price of BTC to an exorbant amount?
:/
